Proof 5 Van Winkle Chef's Dinner

Another Fine Whiskey+Food Pairing event featuring two of the most sought after bourbons in the world, Old Rip Van Winkle 10 Year and Pappy Van Winkle 15 Year. These whiskeys, along with three hand crafted cocktails will be paired with a five course chefs tasting dinner. Our Beverage Director and Reginal Manager will lead us through the night, teaching the history of the whiskey, cocktials and food pairings. If whiskey isn’t your thing, a wine pairing will be available as well as a non-alcoholic cocktail pairing.


Cost per ticket is $135 + tax and a 20% gratuity.

Chef's Dinner/Buffalo Trace Tasting

We’re back with another Fine Whiskey + Food Pairing event featuring two separate private barrels of our favorite Buffalo Trace Bourbon and a Private Barrel of Weller Antique 107. These whiskeys, along with two whiskey cocktails (eagle rare and sazerac rye) will be paired with a five course chefs tasting dinner. The Illinois brand ambassador of Buffalo Trace, Chris Balha will join us to give us insight and in-depth information pertaining to Buffalo Trace facts and news. If whiskey isn’t your thing, a wine pairing will be available as well as a non-alcoholic cocktail pairing.

Proof no. 5 Chef’s Dinner w/ Whiskey/Cocktail Pairing

Join us at our next Chef’s Dinner and Cocktail Pairing event on March 11th at 7pm. We will be serving an off-menu dinner, featuring a Chef curated menu paired with allocated bourbons from The Widow Jane Distillery and cocktails from Tequila Ocho. Susan Rosentreter, the spirits expert from Sampson and Sury, will be there to enlighten us all of the specifics of Widow Jane and Tequila Ocho. Some allocated bottles (including Tequila Ocho), as well as our Private Barrels of bourbon and rye, will be available to purchase.

Join us at Maize + Mash on February 11th at 7pm (doors open at 6pm) for an off-menu 5-course Chef’s Dinner. We will be pairing each course with hand crafted cocktails and select whiskeys featuring Heaven’s Hill Elijah Craig 18 year, Parker’s Heritage and Old Fitzgerald Bottled in Bond.
